1. Services Provided
Knoxville Mold Inspection provides professional mold inspection and assessment services for residential and commercial properties in the Knoxville, Tennessee area. Our services include visual mold inspections, moisture assessments, air quality testing, and detailed inspection reports.
2. Service Limitations
- Our inspections are limited to accessible areas of the property at the time of inspection.
- We do not perform mold remediation or removal services.
- Inspection results represent conditions observed at the time of the inspection only.
- We cannot guarantee the detection of all mold present in a property.
- Our services are for informational purposes and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee regarding the property's condition.
3. Scheduling and Appointments
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee. The property owner or authorized representative must be present or provide access during the scheduled inspection time.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Additional fees may apply for expedited reports, travel outside our standard service area, or inspections requiring specialized equipment.
5. Inspection Reports
Written inspection reports will be provided within the timeframe specified at the time of booking. Reports are confidential and intended solely for the use of the client who commissioned the inspection. Redistribution or publication of reports without our written consent is prohibited.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the property and any known issues.
- Ensure safe access to all areas to be inspected.
- Disclose any known hazards or unsafe conditions on the property.
- Obtain necessary permissions if you are not the property owner.
7. Limitation of Liability
Knoxville Mold Inspection's liability is limited to the fee paid for the inspection services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services or inspection reports. Our inspections do not guarantee the absence of mold or predict future mold growth.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness or accuracy of our inspections beyond the standard of care typical in the mold inspection industry. We do not provide medical advice or diagnoses related to mold exposure.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knoxville Mold Inspection, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or your violation of these terms.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Knox County, Tennessee, in accordance with Tennessee state law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any legal proceedings related to these terms shall be conducted in Knox County, Tennessee.
12. Modifications to Terms
Knoxville Mold Inspection reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
